Oman’s population reaches 5 million

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman’s population has reached approximately 5 million, including 2 million expats till the end of November 2022.

The population of the Sultanate of Oman reached 4,904,047 at the end of last November, compared to last October, when the population reached 4,876,125. Where the population increased by 27,922 in just a month.

According to the statistics of the National Center for Statistics and Information, the number of Omanis at the end of last November reached 2,861,417 , compared to last October, when their number reached 2,856,777 people, an increase of 4,640 people.

The statistics showed that the number of expatriates in the Sultanate of Oman at the end of last November reached 2,042,630 , compared to last October, when their number reached 2,019,348, an increase of 23,282Muscat Governorate is the highest in terms of population density with 1,463,218, while the Al Wusta Governorate is the least densely populated of all the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman with 58,519 people.
