President of Uzbekistan to visit Egypt from tomorrow

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Egypt on 20-21 February.

The agenda of the high-level talks includes the entire range of issues of further strengthening Uzbek-Egyptian relations.

Particular attention will be paid to the prospects for the development of cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and educational fields. An exchange of views on the international and regional agenda will take place.

As a result of the summit, it is planned to adopt a Joint Statement and sign a number of bilateral documents.

As part of the visit program, the head of Uzbekistan will meet with the heads of leading Egyptian companies and representatives of business circles.
