Prince Faisal, Blinken exchange views on Russian-Ukraine crisis
New Dehli, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah met Thursday with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting taking place in India.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strategic relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and support them in various cooperation and joint coordination fields.
They also discussed various regional and international developments, in addition to exchanging views on the (Russian-Ukrainian) crisis and the efforts exerted in this regard.
They also discussed means to intensify joint action towards establishing the sides’ efforts to settle the pillars of security and peace in the region and the world.
The Director General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, also attended the meeting.
Prince Faisal also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Sameh Shoukry on the sidelines of the foreign ministers meeting of the G20 countries here.
During the meeting, they reviewed the strong relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries. The two sides discussed aspects of enhancing bilateral work in all fields.
The two sides also discussed several issues of concern to the two brotherly countries that serve common interests, as well as developments in the regional and international arenas and the efforts exerted in this regard.
The two sides also exchanged views on the issues on the agenda of the foreign minister’s meeting of the G20 countries.
Prince Faisal met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting being held in New Delhi.
During the meeting, they discussed the strong relationship between the two friendly countries and ways to further support and enhance them in all fields. They also addressed regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The two sides discussed ways to intensify joint coordination to serve the interests of both countries and exchanged views on issues on the agenda of the G20 foreign ministers. The meeting was attended by Abdulrahman Al-Dawood.
