Riyadh-Tehran economic ties in interest of entire region says Iranian Minister
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran Ehsan Khandouzi has stressed that the expansion of economic ties between Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic is a win-win interaction, which will benefit all regional states as well.
Khandouzi made the remarks on the sidelines of the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, noting that President Ebrahim Raisi’s policy is based on the enhancement of ties with the neighboring countries.
Pointing to the achievements of the Raisi administration in his 1.5 years tenure, the minister said that economic, trade and investment cooperation between Iran and the neighboring states is expected to grow further.
The agreement between Riyadh and Tehran, which was brokered by amicable countries, will boost opportunities for mutual trade and investment, he noted.
