Bahraini, Turkish FMs meet in New York
New York, The Gulf Observer: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, at the headquarters of the Turkish permanent mission in New York, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 78).
They discussed the robust deep-rooted friendly relations between the two countries, which are developing at all levels, and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in many fields. They also reviewed a number of issues of common interest at the regional and international levels.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, as well as the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Jamal Fares Al-Ruwaei and the Chief of Asian and Pacific Affairs, Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen.
