Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs hold discussions in Tehran

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers held discussions in Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in a press release after the meeting of the MFA heads of the “3+3” regional platform, according to media reports.
Abdollahian stated that the meeting between Ararat Mirzoyan and Ceyhun Bayramov in Tehran within the framework of the “3+3” format is a practical step towards peace and friendship between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
He noted that within the framework of the mentioned meeting, an opportunity was created for the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia to engage in discussions.
According to Abdollahian, this meeting will contribute to stability and security in the South Caucasus region.
“Armenia recognizes Garabagh as Azerbaijani territory. Azerbaijan, in turn, guarantees the safety of Armenians living in Garabagh,” the minister added.
