Omani, Japanese FMs call for urgent truce in Gaza

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, and Yoko Kamikawa, Foreign Minister of Japan, stressed the need for achieving an urgent truce in Gaza to enable the supply of humanitarian needs of the population, and to stop more civilian casualties.

They also stressed, during a phone call, the importance of dialogue in finding a final and permanent solution to the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution and international law, which will lead to breaking the cycle of violence and extremism.

Regarding the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, the Foreign Minister and his Japanese counterpart expressed their support for further commercial, economic and tourism partnerships and encouraged ways to expand exchange and cooperation in various fields.
