London, The Gulf Observer: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Bahrain’s Minister of Youth Affairs, engaged in a fruitful meeting with Shabir Randeree, Chairman of the Prince’s Trust International Board in Britain, during her official visit to the United Kingdom. The meeting, held on the sidelines of her visit, aimed to explore avenues for collaboration and bolstering efforts to support Bahraini youth.

Minister Tawfiqi underscored Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to youth development, expressing a keen interest in providing training opportunities and enhancing the skills and expertise of young individuals. She highlighted the ministry’s initiatives and international partnerships aimed at facilitating training opportunities for Bahraini youth, emphasizing the importance of these collaborations in shaping a more skilled and empowered youth population.

During the meeting, Minister Tawfiqi shared insights into the national strategy launched by the ministry, emphasizing its focus on prioritizing the needs of young people and integrating them into the decision-making processes. Recognizing the significance of future skills, Tawfiqi stressed the need for additional training opportunities to prepare youth for the evolving demands of the global landscape.

In praising the supportive role of King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in championing global youth causes, Minister Tawfiqi expressed the ministry’s aspiration to deepen cooperation with the Prince’s Trust through collaborative programs.

Shabir Randeree, Chairman of the Prince’s Trust International Board, expressed the fund’s keen interest in partnering with the Ministry of Youth Affairs in Bahrain. Commending Bahrain’s exemplary experience in developing unique programs across various fields for its youth, Randeree affirmed the potential for meaningful collaboration that aligns with the goals of both entities.
