Doha, The Gulf Observer: In a ceremony held at the Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque in Doha, Qatar, the Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani Holy Quran Competition celebrated the achievements of 1,836 male and female winners for the year 1445 AH/2024 AD.

The event, organized by the competition’s committee, brought together participants and dignitaries to recognize the exemplary dedication and proficiency in Quranic memorization and recitation.

During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented financial prizes and certificates of appreciation to the male winners. The awards were distributed promptly following the honoring ceremony at the mosque.

Similarly, the female winners received their prizes and certificates of appreciation at the headquarters of the women’s memorization branch located in the Al Waab area.

The competition’s organizing committee revealed that a total of 541 male and female citizens, along with 1,295 male and female residents, emerged as winners across the competition’s two branches. This diverse participation reflects the widespread enthusiasm and commitment to Quranic studies within the community.
