Minsk, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of Pakistan in Minsk took centre stage at the prestigious International Exhibition “Leisure – 2024” opened in Minsk today. The event, attended by tourism professionals, travel enthusiasts, and media representatives from across the regions, showcased the world’s top leisure destinations.
On the main stage, the Embassy of Pakistan presented “Journey through Pakistan,” a detailed exploration of the country’s unique tourism attractions. The presentation included captivating video documentaries that showcased Pakistan’s diverse landscapes, thousands of years of history, and the richness of its cultural heritage.
Attendees were treated to a delightful blend of cultural performances. The talented students of Tamazur School performed a vibrant dance to a Pushto song, celebrating Pakistan’s cultural diversity. Additionally, the talented singer Tatiana Kremis mesmerized the audience with a soulful Urdu song. An engaging quiz competition tested participants’ knowledge about Pakistan’s tourist destinations, historical sites, and natural wonders. It was an interactive way to educate visitors about the country’s hidden gems.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus, Sajjad Haider Khan, underscored the uniqueness of Pakistan’s tourism attractions. He highlighted the country’s diverse natural beauty, warm hospitality, and the allure of its historical sites. Ambassador Khan emphasized that Pakistan’s tourism industry has witnessed a resurgence in recent years, making it an exciting destination for travellers worldwide.
This marks Pakistan’s third consecutive year of participation in the “Leisure” exhibition. The platform provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Pakistan’s tourism potential and foster stronger cultural ties between Pakistan and Belarus.
