Sultan of Oman to Embark on State Visit to Kuwait on Monday

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Diwan of the Royal Court has announced that His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will undertake a significant state visit to the State of Kuwait, commencing on Monday, the 13th of May 2024. During this diplomatic endeavor, His Majesty will engage in discussions with Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.

A statement released by the Diwan of the Royal Court reads as follows:

“In affirmation of the enduring and fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will embark on a state visit to Kuwait on Monday, 13 May 2024. This visit underscores the esteemed ties between the two nations and reflects the earnest commitment of their leaderships to elevate bilateral cooperation to greater heights.

The visit will delve into the existing collaboration across various sectors between Oman and Kuwait, with a focus on enhancing them to serve the interests and aspirations of both the Omani and Kuwaiti peoples. Furthermore, discussions will encompass topics aimed at advancing the collective endeavors of the GCC amidst evolving regional and international landscapes.

Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan will be a distinguished official delegation, including HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Dr. Saleh bin Amir Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait.
