Almaty to host XI Congress of Financiers on Wednesday
Astana, The Gulf Observer: On November 15, 2023, Almaty will host the XI Congress of Financiers of Kazakhstan, according to media reports.
The event is organized by the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan under the auspices of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market.
During the panel sessions of the Congress, governors of the foreign central banks and financial institutions, representatives of Kazakhstan’s governmental agencies and financial organizations will discuss the topical issues of macroeconomic policy and financial sector.
The participants of this year’s Congress will discuss the issues of monetary policy in the current environment, macroeconomic stability and fiscal discipline, as well as cyber resilience of the financial sector and the role of innovations in the global change of financial markets.
A presentation of the results of implementation of the Digital Tenge project will take place during the Congress.
The XI Congress of Financiers of Kazakhstan will be held both in online and offline formats. The plenary sessions and panel discussions will be broadcast online on fincongress.kz platform and on the official YouTube channel of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
Last year’s anniversary 10th Congress of Financiers focused on the systemic approaches to business loans, interaction between financial and real sector, development of insurance market, issues of digital approach to financial accessbility as well as new investment opportunities at the stock market.
