Ambassador of Turkmenistan Presents Credentials to U.S. President at White House

Washington, The Gulf Observer: The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United States, Esen Aydogdyyev, presented his credentials to U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on May 21.

During the ceremony, warm greetings and best wishes were exchanged on behalf of the leadership of Turkmenistan and the United States, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States.

Both sides underscored the significance of the 34-year diplomatic relationship between Turkmenistan and the United States and reaffirmed their mutual interest in further expanding cooperation in areas of shared priority, including political dialogue and broader bilateral engagement.

Separately, on May 19, Ambassador Esen Aydogdyyev met with representatives of the U.S. Congress, where discussions focused on the current state of Turkmen-U.S. relations and future prospects for strengthening cooperation.

The meetings reflect ongoing efforts by both countries to deepen diplomatic ties and enhance constructive engagement across multiple platforms.
