Aurora Borealis to Light Up Finnish Skies This Weekend

Aurora Borealis

Helsinki, The Gulf Observer: The Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) has announced that the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, will be visible across Finland this weekend, with sightings expected even in southern regions.

According to FMI, there is a medium probability of auroras appearing in central and southern Finland, while Lapland will have a high probability of witnessing the breathtaking natural phenomenon.

Meteorologist Eveliina Tuovinen noted that clear skies throughout the weekend will create ideal conditions for viewing, although some cloud cover is expected in northern regions. She emphasized that the best time to spot the Northern Lights will be around and after midnight on Saturday.
