Azerbaijan and United Nations Sign Agreement to Promote Public Service Innovations Globally
Baku, The Gulf Observer: The State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan has signed a contribution agreement with the United Nations to expand the application of Azerbaijan’s successful “ASAN Service” model internationally.
The agreement was signed by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, and Li Junhua, UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, as reported in a press release from the State Agency.
This initiative aims to enhance public service delivery across UN member countries by introducing innovative practices based on the “ASAN Service” model, which has been widely recognized for its efficiency and citizen-focused approach.
As part of the agreement, training programs will be organized for public servants in participating countries, focusing on advanced management techniques and effective public service provision. The initiative also includes the development of specialized textbooks and the organization of international events to facilitate knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices.
This collaboration reflects Azerbaijan’s commitment to contributing to global development by leveraging its expertise in modernizing public services and fostering innovation in governance.
