Azerbaijan Commences New Phase of Resettlement to Jabrayil

Baku, The Gulf Observer: In accordance with the directives of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has launched a new phase of resettlement to the city of Jabrayil, marking another step in the nation’s post-conflict reconstruction efforts.

On January 13, 39 families, comprising 165 individuals, were relocated to Jabrayil, media reports confirmed. This initiative is part of Azerbaijan’s broader strategy to facilitate the safe and sustainable return of displaced persons to liberated territories, following the restoration of control over these areas.

Jabrayil, a city in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, has undergone extensive rehabilitation and infrastructure development to accommodate returning residents. This phase of relocation underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring that former residents can rebuild their lives in their ancestral lands, supported by modernized facilities and services.

The resettlement efforts represent a significant milestone in Azerbaijan’s broader vision of regional revitalization and the reintegration of liberated areas into the country’s socio-economic framework.
