Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Riyadh Season 2024 has set a new record, surpassing 16 million visitors, according to Turki AlalShikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA). The milestone reflects the event’s growing global appeal and the Kingdom’s commitment to diversifying its entertainment sector.
Launched in October, the Riyadh Season has captivated audiences with a wide array of activities, from international boxing and wrestling matches to concerts, scenic gardens, and unique dining experiences. Newly introduced zones, such as “Dunes of Arabia” and “Boulevard Runway,” have further boosted attendance, offering camping enthusiasts and aviation fans immersive experiences.
The mid-term break of the academic year significantly contributed to the record-breaking numbers, as visitors flocked to enjoy the festival’s diverse attractions.
The unprecedented success of Riyadh Season 2024 underscores Saudi Arabia’s strides in enhancing its entertainment offerings, drawing millions of local and international visitors, and solidifying Riyadh as a premier global destination for cultural and recreational events.
