Azerbaijan Defense Ministry and Ombudsman’s Office Sign 2025 Joint Action Plan on Human Rights
Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry and the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) have signed a joint action plan for 2025, aiming to enhance the protection of military personnel’s rights and assess the human rights situation across the armed forces, News Hub Consultants reports.
The action plan specifies the locations, times, and individuals responsible for the scheduled events throughout the year.
A series of meetings and discussions are planned to focus on the protection of military personnel’s rights and a thorough evaluation of the human rights situation. These activities will take place within the Ministry’s various forces, units, and military institutions, including specialized educational establishments.
This initiative reflects Azerbaijan’s commitment to ensuring the well-being and rights of its military personnel while aligning with broader human rights standards.
