Azerbaijan Engineering Academy, Institution of Engineers Pakistan Sign MoU to Boost Engineering Cooperation
Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Azerbaijan Engineering Academy and the Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of engineering and promoting scientific, technical and professional collaboration.
The agreement was signed by Academician Arif Pashayev, President of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy, and Farhat Adil, President of the Institution of Engineers Pakistan.
As a member of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening international cooperation and fostering closer ties within the Asian and global engineering community through the exchange of knowledge, expertise and professional experience.
The MoU seeks to enhance scientific, technical and professional cooperation, strengthen international relations, and promote knowledge-sharing between engineering professionals and institutions in Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
Under the agreement, both organizations will collaborate in exchanging scientific and technical information, organizing international conferences, seminars and symposiums, expanding cooperation among engineers and researchers, and implementing joint scientific research and innovation projects.
The two sides emphasized that enhanced cooperation and the exchange of professional expertise would enable engineers to play a greater role in advancing sustainable development and fostering innovation.
The Memorandum is expected to further deepen collaboration between the engineering organizations of Azerbaijan and Pakistan while contributing to the implementation of international engineering initiatives and joint projects of mutual interest.
