Azerbaijan, Peru Mark 30 Years of Diplomatic Relations with Commemorative Exhibition

Lima, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan and Peru have celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the inauguration of a commemorative exhibition and the unveiling of a joint postal card, commemorative envelope and special postmark at Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Lima.
Speaking at the ceremony, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Mexico and concurrently accredited to Peru, Seymur Fataliyev, said bilateral relations have steadily expanded since diplomatic ties were established on June 25, 1996.
The ambassador highlighted significant progress in political dialogue, parliamentary cooperation, cultural exchanges and coordination between the two countries within international organizations over the past three decades.
Peru’s Deputy Foreign Minister Erik Anderson commended the positive development of bilateral relations, expressing confidence that cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields would continue to strengthen in the years ahead.
The commemorative exhibition features photographs and archival materials documenting the evolution of Azerbaijan-Peru relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1996. The exhibition will remain open to visitors for the next 15 days.
