Emirates Gas Launches First-of-its-Kind Marine LPG Composite Cylinders at Dubai International Boat Show

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Emirates Gas, a subsidiary of ENOC Group, has introduced a groundbreaking product to enhance the sailing and marine lifestyle experience in the UAE. Today, the company unveiled the 2 kg and 11 kg Marine LPG Composite Cylinders, the first of their kind in the country, during the Dubai International Boat Show at Dubai Harbour.

The launch of the Marine LPG Composite Cylinder is part of ENOC Group’s ongoing commitment to provide customers with cutting-edge technology and innovation in the LPG industry. Engineered for safety and durability, these innovative cylinders feature a specially designed marine regulator made from high-grade materials with insulation against water and salinity. The cylinders also include a 75 mbar Pressure Relief Valve and boast a robust design with a quality rubber diaphragm.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at ENOC, emphasized the importance of maritime activities in UAE society and culture, stating, “The introduction of the all-new Marine LPG Composite Cylinder demonstrates ENOC Group’s dedication to meeting the country’s highest environmental, health, and safety standards.” Al Falasi expressed confidence that the launch of these lightweight marine cylinders will enhance user confidence and improve maritime lifestyles.

The Marine LPG Composite Cylinders are lightweight and portable, featuring a premium LPG Hose crafted from robust mesh-reinforced rubber with an 8mm thickness, ensuring safety at sea.

This introduction builds on Emirates Gas’s previous milestones, including the launch of the first generation of LPG Composite Cylinders in the UAE in 2017. Last year, the company unveiled the new generation of cylinders in two sizes, 11kgs and 16kgs. The LPG Composite Cylinders are known for being light in weight, durable, and translucent, allowing customers to monitor the product level and prompt them to schedule timely refills.

To prevent the distribution of unauthorized LPG cylinders, Emirates Gas urges customers to purchase cylinders only from authorized distributors and request a valid VAT invoice in accordance with UAE government regulations. Authorized distributors adhere to strict safety practices, ensuring thorough inspection, specialized testing, and maintenance before each filling, thus guaranteeing customers receive safe-to-use LPG cylinders.
