Emirati Conference on Medical Education 2025 Opens in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The Emirati Conference on Medical Education 2025 commenced in Abu Dhabi, organized by the National Institute for Health Specialties in collaboration with leading healthcare training authorities and institutions. The event brings together over 600 participants from the healthcare sector, including senior officials, academics, and medical professionals.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from key healthcare organizations, including the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME-I), the Arab Board of Health Specializations, and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The conference serves as a specialized platform to discuss the latest advancements in medical education, facilitate knowledge exchange, and support research and innovation in the field.
Featuring four main sessions and panel discussions, the event includes presentations from 20 distinguished speakers addressing key developments in medical education. Additionally, 10 specialized workshops aim to enhance skills and promote best practices in specialty training and assessment.
The conference also highlights groundbreaking research, with 43 research papers presented through oral presentations and scientific posters. These contributions provide valuable insights into emerging trends and innovations in medical education and healthcare.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Houqani, Secretary-General of the National Institute for Health Specialties, emphasized that the conference reflects the UAE’s commitment to advancing medical education by updating curricula, improving assessment systems, and fostering regional and international collaborations.
