Azerbaijani, Romanian Foreign Ministers Discuss Peace Process and Bilateral Cooperation at Munich Conference

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Romania’s Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference to discuss key aspects of their strategic partnership, as well as regional and international issues.
During the meeting, Minister Bayramov congratulated Hurezeanu on his recent appointment and wished him success in his new role. The ministers underscored the significance of high-level mutual visits and political dialogue in advancing bilateral relations.
Discussions focused on strengthening ties and expanding cooperation in various sectors, including economy, energy, trade, humanitarian affairs, education, agriculture, and tourism. Special emphasis was placed on green energy collaboration and potential partnerships in transport and logistics, particularly within the framework of the “Middle Corridor.”
The meeting also addressed the post-conflict situation in the region and explored prospects for the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening their strategic partnership and enhancing cooperation on matters of mutual interest.
