H.E. Dr Hilal al Sabti Inaugurates Oman International Pharmacy Congress

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: On Sunday, H.E. Dr Hilal al Sabti, the Minister of Health, officially inaugurated the Oman International Pharmacy Congress and Exhibition (OIPCX). The event, hosted at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, is organized by the Ministry of Health through the Directorate General of Medical Supplies.

During the inauguration ceremony, Ibrahim al Rashdi, the Director General and Chair of OIPCX, delivered a welcome speech highlighting the distinctive features of this year’s congress. Emphasizing the inclusivity of the scientific program, Rashdi underscored its comprehensive coverage, spanning areas such as pharmacy education, supply chains, pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, and the evolution toward patient-centered pharmaceutical care.

Notably, he emphasized the paramount importance of Universal Health Care, resonating with professionals and decision-makers in the broader health sector and specifically within the field of pharmacy.
