Iran Vows Resolve After U.S. Strikes; FM Araghchi Says Victims’ Blood Will Not Be in Vain

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has declared that the blood of civilians killed in recent U.S. strikes will not be shed in vain, reaffirming that Iran will remain steadfast in defending its territory and people “until the last breath.”
In an official statement, Araghchi said the Iranian nation would firmly resist all forms of aggression and that its determination to safeguard the country’s sovereignty would remain unwavering.
Meanwhile, Iranian authorities released photographs of eight civilians who were killed in U.S. strikes on Hormozgan Province. According to officials, the victims included four women and four men, among them two disabled brothers.
The foreign minister also shared images of three civilians killed in a U.S. strike in Bandar Khamir, stating that the victims were innocent villagers who were crossing the Bandar Khamir Bridge when they were targeted.
According to Iranian media, U.S. strikes carried out overnight also hit critical infrastructure in the city of Jask, including electricity facilities and pumps at a desalination plant, causing damage to essential public services.
Iranian officials further stated that in recent days, multiple bridges and other infrastructure across the country have been struck in U.S. attacks, resulting in reported casualties and property damage.
The statements come amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, with Tehran strongly condemning the attacks and reiterating its commitment to defending the country against external aggression.
