Iranian and Chinese Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional and Global Issues in Beijing
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing to discuss issues of mutual interest and enhance bilateral ties.
The meeting, which took place on Saturday, came a day after Araghchi’s arrival in the Chinese capital. The discussions focused on regional and international developments, reflecting the strong partnership between Tehran and Beijing.
According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei, the visit marks Araghchi’s first trip to China under the administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian. He emphasized the importance of the comprehensive strategic partnership document between the two nations, which remains a key focus of the talks.
Baghaei highlighted the longstanding and robust relations between the two countries across various fields and expressed confidence that the visit would further strengthen their strategic cooperation.
