Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi has reaffirmed the importance of regional cooperation, emphasizing that neighboring countries hold a special place in Iran’s foreign policy.

“Through friendship and cooperation, we can build a better and more prosperous future for our region,” Takht-e-Ravanchi wrote on his X account on Sunday, following his visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During his trip to Abu Dhabi, Takht-e-Ravanchi held a “long and fruitful meeting” with UAE Deputy Foreign Minister Lana Nusseibeh as part of the first round of political consultations between the two nations. He also met with Khalifa Shaheen, the State Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and Anwar Gargash, the Diplomatic Advisor to the President.

According to Takht-e-Ravanchi, Emirati officials expressed a strong willingness to expand bilateral relations, particularly in the economic sector. The visit marks a step toward strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering greater regional collaboration.
