Iranian President Highlights Success of Iran’s Healthcare System

Mashhad, The Gulf Observer: Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has lauded the country’s healthcare system as one of the most successful globally, emphasizing significant advancements in public health. In a message delivered on Thursday at a conference to honor Iran’s healthcare providers, President Pezeshkian highlighted the positive developments in health outcomes for Iranians.

The President pointed to the notable increase in life expectancy, underscoring that it is a direct result of improved healthcare services and national health policies. He also noted key indicators of success, including a reduction in infant mortality, the control of infectious diseases, and a decline in complications associated with non-infectious diseases.

Pezeshkian further emphasized the role of healthcare programs, such as universal health coverage and the family doctor plan, in providing equitable access to medical services across Iran. These initiatives have enabled millions of Iranians to benefit from comprehensive and continuous care.
