Jordan Confirms Aqaba Airport and Port Operating Normally

Amman, The Gulf Observer: Jordan’s Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani has confirmed that King Hussein International Airport and Aqaba Port are operating normally, with no evacuation orders issued by the relevant authorities.

According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Momani said in a press statement on Sunday that Jordanian authorities have not recorded any potential security threats over the past several hours, emphasizing that the current situation does not warrant the issuance of public warnings.

He reassured the public that operations at both King Hussein International Airport and Aqaba Port are continuing without disruption and in accordance with established safety and security procedures.

Momani added that Jordan’s emergency response protocols remain fully operational, noting that warning sirens would be activated immediately should any potential threat arise.

The government’s statement comes as part of ongoing efforts to keep the public informed about the security situation and to reaffirm that the country’s key transportation and logistics facilities continue to function safely and efficiently.
