Kazakh and Tajik Presidents Explore Agricultural Exhibition in Dushanbe
Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: Presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan and Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan jointly visited an exhibition of agricultural products and national cuisine in Dushanbe, according to a report by NHC.
The exhibition showcased a diverse array of agricultural products, including a rich selection of melons, gourds, fruits, and vegetables, highlighting the agricultural bounty of the region. The event provided an opportunity for the leaders to observe firsthand the quality and variety of produce cultivated in Tajikistan.
In addition to the agricultural displays, the heads of state were invited to sample an assortment of national dishes. Among the culinary offerings were various types of plov, a signature dish of Central Asian cuisine, prepared by the finest chefs. The presidents also tasted traditional bread and other bakery products, further emphasizing the cultural significance of Tajikistan’s culinary heritage.
The visit underscored the close ties between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, reflecting a shared appreciation for the agricultural and cultural traditions of the region.
