Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva Visit Family of Patriotic War Martyr Ulfat Babazada

Baku, The Gulf Observer: As part of their visit to the Lankaran district, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Founder and Head of the IDEA Public Union, together with Arzu Aliyeva, Head of the Baku Media Center, visited the family of Patriotic War martyr Ulfat Babazada.
During the visit, Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva paid tribute to the memory of the fallen hero and were briefed on his life, honorable military service, and combat path. They also took close interest in the welfare, needs, and concerns of his family members, offering their support and attention.
Ulfat Gabil oglu Babazada was born in Dashtatuk village of Lankaran district. During the 44-day Patriotic War, he served in the Azerbaijani Special Forces, participating in battles for the liberation of occupied territories. He demonstrated exceptional bravery in key operations in the Khojavand, Kalbajar, and Shusha directions and was martyred on November 8, 2020, during the intense fighting for Shusha.
By relevant decrees of President Ilham Aliyev, Ulfat Babazada was posthumously awarded the “Azerbaijani Flag” Order, along with the medals “For the Motherland,” “Brave Warrior,” “For the Liberation of Shusha,” “For the Liberation of Khojavend,” and “For the Liberation of Kalbajar,” in recognition of his courage and service.
