Leyla Aliyeva Meets with Vietnam’s Vice President to Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, held a meeting with Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, during her visit to the country. The meeting served as a platform to discuss avenues for deepening bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam.

During the meeting, Leyla Aliyeva conveyed the warm greetings of Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice-President of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, expressing her hope that the ongoing dialogue and discussions would further reinforce the relationship between the two nations.

Both sides highlighted the importance of reciprocal visits by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Vietnam, noting their positive impact on strengthening political dialogue and fostering mutual understanding between the two countries. The meeting also underscored the role of people-to-people connections, non-governmental cooperation, and diplomatic relations in building a closer partnership.

In addition to their discussions, it was noted that various joint activities had already taken place, including meetings at the Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism and a secondary school for visually impaired children. Projects focused on education, social development, and environmental protection are set to continue, contributing to the shared goals of both nations.

Further cooperation on enhancing tourism potential was also discussed, along with the possibility of implementing exchange programs across multiple sectors. Cultural events that celebrate the rich heritage of both nations were emphasized as crucial for deepening bilateral ties and fostering greater mutual understanding.

The visit signifies ongoing collaboration between Azerbaijan and Vietnam, with the goal of expanding partnerships in education, culture, tourism, and social development.
