WELLINGTON, TGO: An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.1 jolted Kermadec Islands northeast of New Zealand’s north island, with no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported that the quake’s epicenter hit at a depth of 10 kilometers below sea level.
