Masoud Pezeshkian Pays Tribute to Imam Khomeini

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian visited the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini on Saturday morning to renew his commitment to the principles and vision of the late founder of the Islamic Republic. The visit took place on the second day of the 10-day celebrations marking the 46th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Accompanied by members of his cabinet, including ministers and vice presidents, President Pezeshkian paid respects at the mausoleum and reflected on Imam Khomeini’s enduring legacy.

During the event, the president emphasized the importance of national unity, stating that victory lies in setting aside differences and working together for the country’s progress. He read out a summary of Imam Khomeini’s will, highlighting its relevance in today’s socio-political landscape.

“Today, we must remind ourselves of these important words of the great Imam and act on them,” he said, calling for adherence to the late leader’s teachings.

President Pezeshkian also warned against external threats aimed at creating discord within the nation. He stressed that the key to preserving the Islamic Revolution is to foster hope and resilience while avoiding despair.

“The enemies are seeking to create division and discord within the country. The secret to the survival of the Islamic Revolution is to raise hope and avoid despair and hopelessness,” he added.
