Oman and Algeria Hold Official Talks on Endowments and Religious Affairs

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria held an official session today to discuss cooperation in the fields of endowments and religious affairs. The Omani delegation was led by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, while the Algerian delegation was headed by Mohammed Al Maamoun Al Qasimi Al Hassani, Minister of State and Dean of the Great Mosque of Algiers.

The discussions centered on sharing expertise to strengthen the role of mosques in community life and highlighted Oman’s experiences in managing endowments and religious affairs. Both sides emphasized the importance of mosques and endowments as vital channels for promoting religious and humanitarian values and for fostering social cohesion.
