Oman Delegation Attends Fourth Qatar Economic Forum

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman, through its Ministry of Finance, actively participated in the Fourth Qatar Economic Forum held under the theme “A World Remade: Navigating the Year of Uncertainty” from May 14 to 16, 2024, in Doha.
Heading the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the forum was Sultan Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, reflecting Oman’s commitment to engaging in strategic economic dialogues and fostering international cooperation.
The forum drew the participation of numerous leaders, experts, decision-makers, and economists from over 50 countries, gathering under the patronage of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
With a comprehensive agenda, the forum delved into a spectrum of contemporary economic issues, facilitating discussions on cooperation mechanisms, knowledge exchange, and sharing of experiences among global stakeholders.
Central themes of the forum encompassed geopolitical dynamics, trade implications, reshaping investment patterns, reconfiguring supply chains, and the outlook for global economic growth as perceived by business and investment leaders. Additionally, deliberations revolved around the imperative shift towards clean energy and the evolving landscape of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
