Oman, Jordan Foreign Ministers Call for Political Dialogue to Ease Regional Tensions
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a telephone conversation with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Monday to discuss the latest regional developments and their implications for peace and stability across the Middle East.
During the call, the two ministers reviewed the evolving regional situation and exchanged views on the growing challenges facing the region’s security and stability.
Both sides emphasized the urgent need to intensify political and diplomatic efforts to halt the current escalation, stressing that dialogue and peaceful solutions remain the most effective path to resolving regional crises and preventing further confrontation.
The ministers also underscored the importance of upholding international law, safeguarding freedom of navigation and protecting the legitimate interests of all peoples. They reaffirmed the need to respect the sovereignty, autonomy and stability of states as essential pillars for achieving lasting peace and regional security.
