Ten Omani tourism companies are taking part in the event, which serves as a vital platform for exchanging knowledge, exploring global trends, and promoting Oman’s tourism sector.

The exhibition, held annually in Moscow, brings together leading tourism experts from around the world. Haitham Mohammed Al Ghassani, Director-General of Tourism Promotion at Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, emphasized the importance of international tourism exhibitions in enhancing Oman’s visibility on the global stage.

“The ministry attaches great importance to participating in these exhibitions, viewing them as a key avenue for showcasing Oman’s tourism assets,” Al Ghassani stated. He highlighted the Omani pavilion’s design, which reflects the country’s architectural heritage, while incorporating the latest technologies to effectively promote Oman’s diverse tourism offerings.

Through its participation, Oman aims to achieve several objectives, including enhancing its presence at major international tourism events, introducing recent developments in the Sultanate’s tourism sector, fostering partnerships with global tourism companies, and attracting more international tourists. The exhibition also serves as an important platform for Omani tourism companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises, to promote their services and products.

Al Ghassani further explained that the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism will engage with representatives from international airlines, global tourism companies, and media outlets during the exhibition, with the goal of promoting various tourism styles and strengthening Oman’s position in the global tourism market.
