Omani Defence Delegation Attends Marrakesh Air Show

Marrakesh, The Gulf Observer: A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan’s Armed Forces participated in the 7th edition of the Marrakesh International Air Show 2024, held in the Kingdom of Morocco from October 30 to November 2. The delegation’s visit underscored Oman’s commitment to strengthening military ties and staying abreast of advancements in the defense and aerospace industries.

During the event, the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan’s Armed Forces delegation toured various exhibition halls, engaging with military industry specialists and observing the latest in defense technology, equipment, and innovation. The delegation explored both current projects and future solutions within military industries, reinforcing Oman’s strategic interest in technological developments and collaborations in the field.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Omani delegation met with Air Marshal Mohammed Kadih of the Royal Moroccan Air Force. In a cordial exchange, both parties discussed potential areas of cooperation and shared insights on strengthening defense relations, further solidifying the historical bonds and mutual interests between Oman and Morocco in the realm of defense.
