Over 20 Million Worshippers Visit Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah During Ramadan’s First 20 Days

Madinah, The Gulf Observer: Saudi authorities have reported that more than 20 million worshippers visited and prayed at the Prophet’s Mosque complex in Madinah during the initial 20 days of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque announced that it had significantly intensified its efforts to serve the multitude of visitors during the blessed month. The total number of pilgrims praying at the site reached a staggering 19,899,991, reflecting the immense spiritual significance of the revered location.

Additionally, the authority disclosed that an additional 1,643,288 individuals had visited Prophet Muhammad’s tomb, an integral part of the mosque complex. Furthermore, the renowned Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa received 655,227 visitors, with 358,632 being men and 296,595 women, underscoring the inclusive nature of the site.

In light of the substantial influx of worshippers and visitors, the General Authority affirmed its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. Efforts will continue unabated to provide integrated services and ensure the comfort and convenience of all visitors and worshippers.
