Malaysia contributes goods worth more than RM800,000 to flood victims in Pakistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Fo Guang Shan of Malaysia, Buddha’s Light International Association and Yayasan Sin Chew with the close cooperation with Wisma Putra (Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia), Pakistan High Commission in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysian High Commission in Islamabad organized a donation drive which gather more than RM800,000 worth of goods to help the flood victims in Pakistan.
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Fo Guang Shan of Malaysia, Buddha’s Light International Association and Yayasan Sin Chew with the close cooperation with Wisma Putra (Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia), Pakistan High Commission in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysian High Commission in Islamabad organized a donation drive which gather more than RM800,000 worth of goods to help the flood victims in Pakistan.
These 15 tones cargo which was grouped into 1,144 boxes arrived on a Pakistan International Airlines flight today from Kuala Lumpur at 4:30 pm.
Present at the Islamabad International Airport to receive the cargo was the Acting High Commissioner of Malaysia, Mr Deddy Faisal bin Ahmad Salleh and Immigration Attaché Madam Norwati binti Majudi. The cargo was handed over to representative of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Deputy Director Mr. Ahsan Siddique.
