PM Shehbaz Expresses Condolences Over Deadly Saudi Helicopter Crash, Reaffirms Pakistan’s Solidarity

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday expressed profound grief over the tragic helicopter crash in Ras Tanura, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which claimed the lives of 14 Saudi nationals.

In a message posted on his official X account, the prime minister extended Pakistan’s heartfelt condolences to the Saudi leadership, the bereaved families, and the people of the Kingdom.

“On behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the bereaved families, and the brotherly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said.

He reaffirmed that Pakistan stands in full solidarity with its Saudi brothers and sisters during this difficult time, expressing sympathy and support in the wake of the tragic incident.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation on Sunday with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to convey Pakistan’s condolences over the loss of lives.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan thanked Senator Dar for his call and expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s brotherly gesture and support.

During the conversation, the two leaders also exchanged views on recent regional developments and voiced deep concern over the evolving situation in the region, reaffirming the importance of continued consultations on issues of mutual interest.
