PM Shehbaz Sharif Condemns UAE Attacks, Calls for Ceasefire and Dialogue

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday strongly condemned the recent missile and drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates, expressing unwavering solidarity with the Emirati leadership and people.

In a statement shared on X, the prime minister conveyed Pakistan’s full support to UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reaffirming close fraternal ties between the two nations.

“Pakistan stands firmly with our Emirati brothers and sisters as well as with the Government of the United Arab Emirates at this difficult time,” Sharif stated.

He underscored the importance of maintaining peace in the region, stressing that adherence to a ceasefire is crucial to enable diplomatic engagement.

“It is absolutely essential that the ceasefire be upheld and respected, to allow necessary diplomatic space for dialogue leading to enduring peace and stability in the region,” he added.

The prime minister’s remarks reflect Pakistan’s continued support for regional stability and its commitment to peaceful resolution of conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy.
