President Emomali Rahmon Makes Key Appointments to Leadership Positions in Central State Bodies

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: President of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, on Monday received newly appointed officials selected for leadership positions in a number of central government institutions.

According to official reports, the personnel changes were carried out within the leadership of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management, the Tax Committee, the Housing and Communal Services Committee, the Committee for Environmental Protection, the Antimonopoly Service, the National Academy of Sciences, the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan, and scientific and educational institutions affiliated with the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.

Experienced professionals and promising young specialists were appointed to several senior positions, including deputy chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management, head of the State Property Use Supervision Service, first deputy chairman and deputy chairmen of the Tax Committee, deputy chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee, deputy chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection, first deputy head and deputy head of the Antimonopoly Service, rector of the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan, and Tajikistan’s representative to the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

In coordination with the President, appointments were also made to leadership positions within the scientific and educational institutions of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, President Rahmon called on the newly appointed officials to serve the people and the state of Tajikistan with integrity, dedication and professionalism. He urged them to continuously enhance their managerial knowledge and skills, deepen their command of the state language and international languages, and contribute to the training and development of a new generation of qualified specialists.

The President emphasized the importance of accelerating digital transformation, ensuring the effective and secure use of artificial intelligence technologies, and improving engagement and cooperation with investors and entrepreneurs.

He also issued specific instructions aimed at enhancing the quality of education and student training, as well as preparing highly qualified professionals capable of meeting the demands of modern development.
