President Ilham Aliyev Arrives in China for State Visit
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the People’s Republic of China on April 22 for a state visit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
A guard of honor was arranged at Beijing International Airport to welcome the Azerbaijani leader, highlighting the significance of the visit in strengthening bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, was received upon arrival by Chinese Minister of Transport Liu Wei and other senior officials.
The state visit is expected to include high-level meetings and discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation across various sectors, including trade, infrastructure, and cultural exchange, as both nations continue to deepen their strategic partnership.
