President of Turkmenistan Congratulates National Leader on Receiving Uzbekistan’s Highest State Award

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on being awarded the Order of High-Level Friendship (Oliy Darajali Do‘stlik), Uzbekistan’s highest state honor.

According to Turkmen official media, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underscored the pride felt by the Turkmen people in recognition of the Chairman’s unwavering efforts to enhance international cooperation and promote national development.

“The prestigious award, presented during your friendly visit to brotherly Uzbekistan, is a worthy recognition of your significant contributions in this field,” the President stated.

In his message, President Berdimuhamedov also highlighted the deep-rooted strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, emphasizing the strength of their political and diplomatic relations.

The Order of High-Level Friendship, established in 2020, is the highest distinction granted by the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is awarded to foreign heads of state, senior government and parliamentary officials, representatives of international organizations, and distinguished individuals — both Uzbek and foreign — who have made exceptional contributions across various spheres.
