President of Turkmenistan Reviews Near-Completed Dentistry Center in Ashgabat
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has reviewed construction and finishing works at a new Dentistry Center in Ashgabat, which is nearing completion, Turkmen state media reported Wednesday.
During the visit, the President was briefed on the progress of construction, the installation of modern medical equipment and preparations for the facility’s operation. The center is designed to provide comprehensive dental and maxillofacial surgery services to patients of all ages.
According to the briefing, the center will cooperate with leading international clinics to organize advanced medical services. Modern equipment manufactured in Germany, Japan and the United States has been installed, while the selection of medical specialists for the facility is currently underway.
The new center will comprise administrative facilities, inpatient and outpatient departments, utility and technical units, as well as electronic laboratory complexes. Patient information will be managed through specialized electronic monitoring programs.
The facility will include emergency admission, radiology and functional diagnostics, endoscopy, clinical laboratory, surgery, sterilization, anesthesiology, intensive care and physiotherapy departments.
The center’s advanced technological infrastructure will allow medical data to be analyzed using artificial intelligence and facilitate the performance of complex medical procedures.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ensuring the effective use of the center’s modern equipment and providing it with highly qualified specialists. He also instructed officials to coordinate closely with the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan to ensure the availability of well-trained medical professionals.
A digitally controlled dental technicians’ laboratory with capacity for 45 specialists will also operate at the center. The laboratory is equipped with computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems, along with automated equipment for three-dimensional modeling, printing and cleaning.
An artificial intelligence system named “Akylly” will assist in automating dental designs, improving precision and enabling the rapid production of complex prosthetic structures.
The Dentistry Center is scheduled to be inaugurated as part of celebrations marking Health and Pharmaceutical Industry Workers’ Day.
President Berdimuhamedov instructed the relevant authorities to complete the remaining construction works on schedule and to a high standard, while ensuring comprehensive preparations for the opening ceremony.
