Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: President Prabowo Subianto has reaffirmed his administration’s firm stance against corruption, declaring that all forms of corrupt practices must be eradicated to safeguard Indonesia’s national wealth. Speaking at the 2024 National Teacher’s Day Summit on Thursday, the President delivered a powerful address, emphasizing his administration’s unwavering commitment to accountability and transparency.

“I give a warning that corruption must stop in the Republic of Indonesia,” he proclaimed, punctuating his message with a raised fist to underscore the gravity of his commitment.

Prabowo further outlined his zero-tolerance policy for misconduct within government ranks. “The Red and White Cabinet, the government that I lead, will have zero tolerance for corruption, theft, and misappropriation. Stop! Stop! Stop!” he stressed.

Highlighting the severe impact of corruption, online gambling, smuggling, and fraudulent practices, the President revealed that these activities have drained the nation’s wealth. However, he assured the public of his administration’s preparedness to tackle these issues. “I have seen the numbers and worked hard with the ministers. We have a strategy, and I believe we can fix this,” he stated confidently.

On education, Prabowo addressed the teachers present at the summit, reiterating the government’s dedication to improving their welfare and the country’s education sector. “The budget allocation for teachers’ welfare has been increased, and we are doing our best for the advancement of education,” he said. He also urged educators to remain patient and trust in the government’s efforts.

Adding to the discourse, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti underscored the significance of the President’s attendance at the summit, labeling it as a testament to the administration’s resolve in advancing education nationwide.
