President Rahmon Inaugurates New Tax Services Center in Roghun

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: President of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon on August 20 inaugurated a new building of the Roghun City Tax Inspectorate as part of efforts to strengthen public infrastructure and modernize tax administration.
During his visit, President Rahmon was briefed on the facilities established at the new building to ensure effective working conditions for tax officials.
The modern facility comprises 10 offices, a computer room, a consultation room, a large conference hall with 80 seats, a taxpayer service center, a library, an archive, as well as fire protection and technical rooms.
The President was informed that the building provides improved working conditions for employees and is equipped to facilitate the introduction and wider use of digital technologies in tax administration.
Officials noted that the commissioning of the new tax inspectorate building is aimed at further developing the institution’s infrastructure and supporting the implementation of sectoral reforms, the transition to modern management systems and the digitalization of public services.
The new building was inaugurated as part of Tajikistan’s ongoing development and modernization efforts ahead of the country’s 35th anniversary of State Independence. The facility was described as a valuable contribution to improving working conditions for tax sector employees.
Following his inspection of the new premises and working conditions, President Rahmon highly commended the quality of the construction and the facilities provided at the tax inspectorate.
