President Tokayev congratulates Azerbaijan on restoration of territorial integrity

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Addressing the jubilee summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States in Astana, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Azerbaijan on restoration of its territorial integrity, according to media reports.

I would like to congratulate Mr Ilham Aliyev and the entire nation of Azerbaijan on restoration of territorial integrity and entering into a new stage of development. This historical step is quite important, it occurred in compliance with the UN Charter and resolution of the Security Council, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

The Kazakh President also congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Republic of Türkiye’s centenary.

I would like to congratulate my brother Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and all representatives of Türkiye on its 100th anniversary. The linguistic genealogy of Anadolu is rich in great achievements. Thanks to its great people, Türkiye has turned into a strong country and powerful empire today, said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Head of State also thanked President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

I would like to thank President of Uzbekistan, current chairman of our Organization, for his contribution. Much work has been done to date. We see certain achievements. On the initiative of Kazakhstan the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States was established, and it has turned into a full-fledged international organization, noted he.
